Newsletter - Convocation in Hamburg

Hallelujah, dear all in Christ,

This Sabbath we have no fellowship because many members are going to the convocation in Hamburg. If the members staying in HD would like to organize some activities, Hymn practices or sister fellowship and so on, that would be even better! May God bless you!

Secondly, about the session on 5.6 which supposed to change the plan of BBQ to family fellowship at Shui-Rou's. However, for Chi-Chi will bring one of her German friend, and one of mine will come with me from Bielefeld as well, therefore I'd like to ask if going out to have B.B.Q is more suitable and convenient than going to Shui-Rou's to have family fellowship? Or, is it still good to sit down and to share something with new friends (Shui-Rou's husband, Maggie's sister, Chi-Chi's friend, and my friend)? By the way, we can also invite those who has attended/ supposed to attend Evangelic Tea Party and our church (z.B Japanese Ester). So, how do you think about the plan on 5.6.?

Thirdly, Shui-Rou would like to preach the gospel to her mother via long-term letter communication. She and I think that the contents of the letters, step-by-step introduction of the Lord and of the Christian life principles, are also useful and edible for other unbelieving parents and relatives of our members. But this literal ministry need all of you, our members' support and contribution, otherwise this plan couldn't survive through time. So, the work would be divided in this way: Shui-Rou will compose the major contents of the letter, and other members contribute your reflection upon the subject of “I am OO” of every session, and Shui-Rou will collect these ideas and passages to enrich her entire work. So, it's the idea. I will translate and send you the 1st letter she's already composed tomorrow. Before receiving it, please recall the reflection of “I am the resurrection” leaded by Joni 1½ weeks ago and consider how to introduce this crucial notion of our faith to unbelievers.

哈利路亞，青年團契各位契友收信平安：


本週因許多契友參加漢堡靈恩會，將沒有青年團契。若留守海德堡之諸位契友欲自行發起練詩、姊妹團契等活動則更佳，願神祝福你們！


其次是關於6月5日青年團契之計畫。原本烤肉已改為到水若家家庭聚會，但由於琪琪與我各會帶一位朋友參加，因此是否仍舉辦戶外烤肉較為適當與方便？又或者，在水若家與新朋友（水若的先生、Maggie的姊姊、琪琪的朋友、我的朋友）進行靜態分享仍有其優點？另外，我們也可邀請曾經參加福音茶會的朋友們，或原本計畫參加卻不克前來者，或曾來過一般聚會的朋友（如：日本的Ester）。這麼一來，你對6月5日活動的內容與進行方式有何建議？


第三，水若欲以長期書信往來向她媽媽傳福音。這些信件將會循序漸進地介紹神，以及基督徒的生活原則。我們認為這對帶領其他契友們未信的父母與親人也都很有用，因此需要你們的支援與貢獻，來使這份文宣工作能持續進行。分工如下：水若會撰寫大部分的內容，其他契友則提供每次團契主題"我是OO”的個人反思，水若將收集這些意見與段落，使文章在聖經根據與基本信仰的說明上更紮實。以上是本計畫大致的概念。明天我將翻譯水若已寫好的第一封信。在此之前，請先回想Joni帶領的"我是復活”的內容，並思考如何對未信者介紹此位居我們信仰核心的重要觀念。
