Hallelujah! Thanks for God's guidance and for Shui-Rou's kind invitation, on the coming Sabbath (19.6), after the prayer session, we're going to Shu-Rou's home with the topic of "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life" led by Wei-Hsiang. But before the major topic begins, we might first discuss the basis of our faith, the bible, with Shui-Rou's husband. So, please think about these questions might going to be addressed:
1. Isn't the bible written and edited by men's hands? How comes that you say it's God's Word?
2. Is Jesus a real historical character? How comes that the historical materials mentioning about him is so rare, except the bible? i.e. is what the bible says the real thing?
3. ...(other questions about the bible)

For the facility of counting seats and dishes, here are the members supposed to go:

Very brief information that on the Sa.5.6., the plan of the youth fellowship will be the outdoor B.B.Q. Please feel free to invite your friend to come. By the way, in the case of raining, Chi-Chi and Doro would prepare another solution in advance.

Second, prayer reminder:
1) please pray for the work on Sa.5.6, may the guests be guided to come and open their minds, and may we glory the name of our Lord.
2) please pray for the truth seekers (Lara, 19-years-old, and her parents) in the Nederland. It's a long story. Anyway, Pr. Steven Shek is going to visit and preach them these two days. They are probably already willing to believe in God, but still need to know more Truth. May God continue to lead them so that we will have a new seed in Holland. :D

Newsletter - Convocation in Hamburg

Hallelujah, dear all in Christ,

This Sabbath we have no fellowship because many members are going to the convocation in Hamburg. If the members staying in HD would like to organize some activities, Hymn practices or sister fellowship and so on, that would be even better! May God bless you!

Secondly, about the session on 5.6 which supposed to change the plan of BBQ to family fellowship at Shui-Rou's. However, for Chi-Chi will bring one of her German friend, and one of mine will come with me from Bielefeld as well, therefore I'd like to ask if going out to have B.B.Q is more suitable and convenient than going to Shui-Rou's to have family fellowship? Or, is it still good to sit down and to share something with new friends (Shui-Rou's husband, Maggie's sister, Chi-Chi's friend, and my friend)? By the way, we can also invite those who has attended/ supposed to attend Evangelic Tea Party and our church (z.B Japanese Ester). So, how do you think about the plan on 5.6.?

Thirdly, Shui-Rou would like to preach the gospel to her mother via long-term letter communication. She and I think that the contents of the letters, step-by-step introduction of the Lord and of the Christian life principles, are also useful and edible for other unbelieving parents and relatives of our members. But this literal ministry need all of you, our members' support and contribution, otherwise this plan couldn't survive through time. So, the work would be divided in this way: Shui-Rou will compose the major contents of the letter, and other members contribute your reflection upon the subject of “I am OO” of every session, and Shui-Rou will collect these ideas and passages to enrich her entire work. So, it's the idea. I will translate and send you the 1st letter she's already composed tomorrow. Before receiving it, please recall the reflection of “I am the resurrection” leaded by Joni 1½ weeks ago and consider how to introduce this crucial notion of our faith to unbelievers.

其次是關於6月5日青年團契之計畫。原本烤肉已改為到水若家家庭聚會，但由於琪琪與我各會帶一位朋友參加，因此是否仍舉辦戶外烤肉較為適當與方便？又或者，在水若家與新朋友（水若的先生、Maggie的姊姊、琪琪的朋友、我的朋友）進行靜態分享仍有其優點？另外，我們也可邀請曾經參加福音茶會的朋友們，或原本計畫參加卻不克前來者，或曾來過一般聚會的朋友（如：日本的Ester）。這麼一來，你對6月5日活動的內容與進行方式有何建議？


第三，水若欲以長期書信往來向她媽媽傳福音。這些信件將會循序漸進地介紹神，以及基督徒的生活原則。我們認為這對帶領其他契友們未信的父母與親人也都很有用，因此需要你們的支援與貢獻，來使這份文宣工作能持續進行。分工如下：水若會撰寫大部分的內容，其他契友則提供每次團契主題"我是OO”的個人反思，水若將收集這些意見與段落，使文章在聖經根據與基本信仰的說明上更紮實。以上是本計畫大致的概念。明天我將翻譯水若已寫好的第一封信。在此之前，請先回想Joni帶領的"我是復活”的內容，並思考如何對未信者介紹此位居我們信仰核心的重要觀念。

We were pretty good in time and had later dinner together.

Thanks for God's guidance, we passed a peaceful winter semester and completed an edifying evangelic task two weeks ago. Now we're marching on. On the coming Sabbath, I will lead all of us to understand the next theme and object I set up, and to discuss the details of the timetable for May-July. CONCLUSION OF DISCUSSION
Hallelujah, dear youths in Christ,

Thank God that our discussion 2 Sabbaths ago went very smoothly and efficiently. We first reflected our relationship among members through an "attacking game", then confirmed the timetable along with the people in charge, and finally we talked about the fruits and the lacks in the Evangelic Tea Party. Thus, in the attached file you can find the timetable for May-July, and as following you can find the protocol of the discussion about the Evangelic Tea Party:

1. The date and the place: quite good. This model could be carried out again next year.
2. The reception: we shall organize the means, the meeting time/place earlier, and confirm them earlier as well.
3. The content: little bit few. We may invite minister to do real preaching and we organize something following the topic of the sermon, eg. Q & A or discussions.
4. The tea time: the slices are quite good and useful for starting an introduction of our church with guests. We can also prepare some informal games for those who are interested in it.
5. The feedback and review: we shall take part this sort of meeting right away after the tea party
6. The way of following up: check the personal preferences of the guests by our members

Secondly, I'd like to remind that we have youth fellowship this Sabbath. The people in charge are:

Singing the Canon we are going to teach our friends "Viele kleine Leute".
We managed to split in two groups and sing it with two parts as a canon.
After that we started to have a very short discussion about the decoration
we are going to put up. We deciede on three things (most was discussed the other
time in 24)
1. our ten basic beliefs each on one poster
2. WAHRE JESUS GEMEINDE in laters to form a banner
3. WILLKOMMEN also in letters















the posters were finished and designd by PeiYing Jonathan and ManYi
the letters were cutted and written by Maggie Dorothea and Daniela.
we will have to attach coloured paper on the latters next week to
finish it.

Hallelujah, dear members of our youth fellowship,

On the coming Sabbath, we'll still have fellowship. Our missions would be:

1. Practicing the hymns (Geh unter der Gnade & People need the Lord, ): 45 min

2. Finishing the sermon exercise: 25 min

3. Prayer: 10 min

4. Report and discussions: 10 min

We will start with the German hymn, Geh unter der Gnade, leaded by Jonathan, and follow with the English Hymn, People need the Lord, leaded by Yi-Yun. And the pianist is Manyi.

Then Nathanael will organize the sermon exercise (which might be the exercise of Q&A or his own presentation).

At the end of the fellowship, we will take some time to pray for the evangelic tea party and discuss some details of it. May God work through us and unite us more and more.

Thank God that the preparation for the Evangelic Tea Party (at 14:30-16:30 on Thursday, 1.4.) is progressing. Here is our revised plan:

-Welcome & an introduce game .............by Daniela

-Hymn teaching (Viele kleine Leute) .......by Jonathan

-Sermon & feedback ............................by Nathanael

-Hymn sharing (Geh unter der Gnade) ....by all members

There are two points of revision: 1) adding the people in charge; 2) deleting the hymn, His name is Jesus. Attached you can find the sheets of the hymns of People need the Lord and Geh unter der Gnade. Please take a look and practice them by 28.03.

One more thing needs your attention is that the major language used in the event would be German. If you would like to invite someone of other language speaking, you can inform us earlier, so that we will arrange someone to translate for him/her. We are very welcome people from any corner of the world to join Jesus Christ's love.

At present we already have 3-5 friends willing to come. Let us pray for them, so that there would be no obstacles to hold them back, and that we can prepare ourselves very well to lead them and glorify our Lord.

First hmny practice led by ChiHsuan. We were able to learn soprano and base form the hymn "People need the LORD". ManYi played the piano for us. Due to the copy machine being defect we had to use the beamer. The disadvantage was, that some words were hard to read the advantage was, that the leader(ChiHsuan) got more attention and everyone looked up. Everyone behaved in a adequate way... so not too happy and loud nor to silent and passive.^^

Fellowship this Sabbath (27.2)‏

On the coming Sabbath, we'll have fellowship. Our missions would be:

1. Practicing the hymns (People need the Lord, Geh unter der Gnade & His name is Jesus)

2. Finishing the sermon exercise

3. Prayer

Concerning that I have to conduct the regular BA meeting at the same time, I deliver the leading of hymn practice to Chi-Hsuan (and the pianist is Manyi ), and that of the sermon exercise to Nathanael. Please use your time very well to complete these missions. At the end of the fellowship, please take some time to pray for the evangelic tea party. May God work through us and unite us more and more.

Hallelujah, dear youths in Christ,

This mail is from Heidelberg Youth Fellowship. We are very glad to invite you to join a meaningful attempt of preaching with us. As you might know, there will be a spring convocation in Heidelberg on 1-4 April; and before that, there will be a Holy-Work Training for the youths in Europe on 29 March-1 April. The purpose of the Holy-Work Training is to improve us the knowledge for evangelism. Therefore, with this purpose and our duty as Christians to spread the gospel, we Heidelberg Youth Fellowship is planning an Evangelic Tea Party, at 14:30-16:30 on Thursday, 1.4.

The plan is like this:

-Welcome & a little game

-Hymn sharing (His Name is Jesus & People Need the Lord)

-Hymn teaching (Viele kleine Leute)

-Sermon & feedback

-Hymn sharing (Geh unter der Gnade)

-Tea time

You are very very welcome to involved in this event if you are coming and willing to. There are several things needing your hands:

1. Guests bringing
It's understandable that for those who live far away, its very difficult to bring someone with you. But a try is still possible. Please consider to invite your friends to come.

2. Hymns practicing

We plan to present 2 English songs (His Name is Jesus & People Need the Lord) and 1 German song (Geh unter der Gnade) during the "Hymn sharing". The sheets will be sent by e-mail next week. Please learn the songs at first. We will also practice them together during 29-31 March.

OK, it seems a bit far away to accomplish the 2 things mentioned above, nevertheless one thing can be done immediately and constantly. That is to prepare ourselves for this event --
to prepare with the basic knowledge about our church, and with our unceasing prayer.
