Last preperation and practice for the farewell presentation at the last night at the convocation.
We started with "Give Me Oil in my Lamp" with the pairs : Rebecca+ Maggie, Jonathan+YiYun, Nathanael+WeiHsiang, Dorothea+Daniela and ManYi at the piano. This time Daniela was not here so Maggie did changed a while and did the movements with Dorothea so that she would not be alone again. It worked pretty good. We tried everything also with the lights out and with the lighters.
Unfortunatly the brothers and sisters from UK had to wait outside. One of them really wanted to be in the same room and tried to sneak inside but he was put outside by our door guard WeiHsiang.(hehe)
After the practice of give me oil we also worked on the song whisper to my heart. There were some parts which were really not perfect. Just like the ending. Many did not know the right tone or how long this last note will last. There was also another part which we did a quick review on.
It was good that we had the time to do this last practice. Although this day was that we eat together a nice and big meal we had time at the evening to practice. Usually this meal is dinner but this year we tried to have a nice lunch and I think that this idea was pretty good.

First part
We had two question about which we discussed.
Why do we not celebrate christmas?
What is meaning in partaking in the holy communion?
Second part
Practising "Give me oil in my Lamp". Joni and YiYun intruduced the biblecerses to us which we will say before lighting our lighters. We practised the receiting of the verses and the beginning and ending.
After singing that song we also sang "whisper to my heart" WITHOUT" Tiana. And it seems that we will have to work on it if we really want to do it. And do we want to do it???! YES. hehe~~
But to be honest it does sound terrible in some parts

- Light is turned out.
- Start reciting the bible verses and lighting up the lighters/torches one by one .

- While Joni is shouting “BURNIIIIIING, the others whisper “burningburningburningburningburningburningburningburning” .
- Then the piano gives a cord, and everyone starts walking to the front, singing “Give me oil in my lamp to keep me burning, keep me burning till the break of day.”
- Then everyone should be at the front already.
- And the lighters/torches are put into pocket.
- Then the piano gives an intro and we sing: 1. English version (+movements) 2. Chinese version (+movements)

Hallelujah, dear all,
We have fellowship this Sabbath. We will start with the sharing time (definitely!), which is prepared by Maggie and Wei-Hsiang. The theme is "the Q&A of faith". The idea of such a discussion came from some questions addressed by Shui-Ruo, and they are worthy of being discussed and clarified. All of us are very welcome to pose questions of faith, and find answers based on the bible together. We especially welcome Uncle Chih-Jen and Aunt Susan to participate in our discussion and to offer some good solutions. The sharing time will proceed for 45 min and then follows 45 min of the hymn practice.
This is the last practice before the convocation. We will have a complete rehearsal, including the short play before the song "give me oil in my lamp". Let us ask ourselves to sing and move with memory. The text (Eng. & Ch.) and the move of "give me oil in my lamp" is posted on our blog (http://wjg-hjg.blogspot.com/), please check it. Me-King ~ Take a good look at the food
Today we went together to the restaurant run by the family of Xin-Ja and Peng Hsiang. We entered the room pretty early and also hungy. Altogether we were a full VW transporter car and a half occupied small car that would make 9+3=12 people with 12 stomachs, 12 mouths, 24 eyes and 120 fingers. Anyway if you want to know who was there just look at our groupfoto and add Nathanael to it. It was him taking the picture for he is our kameraman^^
This is the front door and the sign of their restaurant. When we enterd there were no other guests. I think we entered between 10 and 11. We were warmly welcomed by the family. Though Peng was as XinJa told us still asleep but it did not took a long time and he came through the door with his smile on his face^^.
I think that we had a nice time there. Later other guests were also comming. But there was food enough for everyone.
We did not only eat but also talked and played^^
(there is unfortunatly no picture of us playing UNO^^)
In the end we left happy and with satisfied stomachs. This was not only a opportunity to come together outside the church and to visit the Chao restaurant before they are going to leave the tireding work in the restaurant to others it was also one of the last opportunities to have Tiana with us. (Its not that you are leaving soon and that you will never come back right?!!)
At last I want to say and I think that you all would agree on this:

(16) Hymnal/ Doctrin

Attendee : Nathanael, Daniela, Wei-Hsiang, Rebecca, Dorothea, Jonathan, Yi-Yun, Maggie
At first we practiced the hymn "Whisper to my heart". The lyriks were gone through to create a link between each word and sentence. So this hymn can be understood as a text with liked up content. After that we practiced the song with the focus on the dynamic. Most of the tones were right and most of us are getting used to the text and even already memorised them. In this aspect Rebecca is as usually very familiar with the text while WeiHsiang still wants to keep to the chinese text. Because of some inconveniant incidents soprano was a bit weak. But I hope that everything will be fixed by next time and that the missing members are back again.
After having a pretty quiet practice we reviewed on the hymn "Give me oil in my Lamp" in chinese and english along with the moves(18:45). This time we also set the partners. The people joining next time will be integrated. (Rebecca-Maggie Daniela-Dorothea Nathanael-WeiHsang Jonathan-YiYun)
After singing we had our little prayer session. At first it was decided that the people being in charge on that particular day will have to prepare a bible verse for sharing. This time it was YiYun who shared a few words with everyone. Because it was not allowed anymore to share some final thoughts on the letter to the phillipper on friday night she shared what she wanted to do on that day. He have to be happy this is our duty, no matter if you feel like or not. No matter if you are worried or in touble- be happy.

Preview (16)
Hallelujah, dear all,
We have fellowship this Sabbath. We will start with the Sharing Time, leaded by Nathanael and Daniela at about 17:30, and then practice the 2 Hymns (Whisper to my heart & Give me oil in my lamp) for 1 hour. We are going to remember the text of Whisper to my heart and to improve the expression, and to be more familiar with the movement of Give me oil in my lamp. Thank God that our last practice went in a happy atmosphere^^. As getting familiar with the hymns, I believe that we can put more heart into the meaning of them and will also be moved more.

(15) Hymnal/ CareGroupe
Time: 17:50- 19:00; 19:05-19:30 19:30-19:43
People in charge: Jonathan, YiYun and Man-Yi, Dorothea
Attendee : Nathanael, Wei-Hsiang (was fortunately able to join us in time) , Rebecca, Tiana, Doroteha, Man-Yi, Jonathan, Yi-Yun, Maggie, Mu-Chen, Yi-Rong
First Part:
This time we also start with our hymnal practice. Although we inteded to start at 17.30 in the very beginning but then today the whole schedule was shifted back so it was 17:45 but as you all can see we started at 17:50. This time we finished to sing the song "Whisper to my heart". The tenor and base were doing good jobs by learning their part. While soprano was more or less doing a refreshing of what was learnt last time. So now more or less all the notes are known, now it needs the refinement. After that song we also sang the song "Give me oil in my lamp" in chinese and english the first time altogether. Not only singing but also do the movements. At the beginning we had problems to remeber what movements we had but in the end we could put everything together. Now only the final image is missing. For our hymnal part it was Man-Yi who played the piano for us. After this hour the air was so bad that we had a little break before we started with the second part.
Second Part:
This time it was ManYi and Dorotheas part to prepare for this time sharing. We prepared six little pieces with situations on it which we encountered in our short live.
The groupe was divided in two teams. Each of them should take one piece and act out the situation. But it was not acting but more of being statues (Standbild). So we had the nice opportunity to take some nice fotos.

First Round:
To cheat(TW),
Story: ManYi once did not learn for one test. And because she used to write her name just before she hand in the paper she had the glorious idea in the end to put the name of a class mate there. It was the name of the classmate who usually gets low credits. It was of course a failure and the teacher knew how was the real one
Dorothea also tried to cheat but too failed. Cause she was not able to read her notes she wrote on the table.
The eyes of different agegroupes (TD)- Just look at WH who cant hide his smile^^
Story: Dorothea uses to ride the bike often. So one time she saw on one ride three different persons eyes. The eyes of a mid aged person the eyes of an old person and the eyes of a child. They were very different and remarkable.
Second Round:
To cross the red robot (TD),
Story: ManYi was sometimes too late for school because she practices the piano until very late. Her mum always told her its ok and drove the scooter very quick, chasing after the school but. Another time her father was driving very fast because ManYi hit her head and was bleeding terribly. He drove so fast that the police stopped him. But the let him drive after he showed them the blood. Now ManYi still have a scar because of that incident.
Chased by a dog (TW)
Dorothea was once chased by a dog. After running she climbed or was it jumped? upon the mülltonne. For a little child these Tonnen were quite a hight.
Third Round:
Scared about doctors (WT),
Story: Just continue with Manyis. After they got to the hospital she got two big injections and the doctor and nurs were like oh this is nothing~~.
Going into the wrong toilet(DT)
ManYi has a friend in Freiburg who is a gild but looks like a man. And it is not unusuall that other women will chase her out of the girls toilet.
It was a great preasure and it made really fun to see you all work together to form a image, a picture where everyone took part in no matter in what position. And I hope and I do think that you did had fun. But I mean not only the second but also the first part. Hope we all can not only keep up all we have already acieved but be better and shine more and more together.
Third Part:
Our littel prayer session. And it was not only praying but some also shared what to pray for. Of course the praying for this group and Gods guidance for our future plans and projects but Rebecca also wanted us to pray with her, so that she might not spend that much time for the computer and TV. May God help her to let her see the not lasting joy in spending too much time with this and start to incline her heart to something which is meaningful to her. But not only she needs God, everyone does because who can say that he never failed or have weaknesses.
So we prayed together. May we often be able to pray together.

Preview (15)
So here is just the recent mail from our (I dont know how to call you...AFu?)
in in it are some short but strong encouragement.

Cause it might seem boring to read what just happened. If you like some other texts up here just tell^^. Ok there is already another blog with other content. I also still hope that he also can be revived... please do not die.

Hallelujah, dear all,
We have fellowship this Sabbath. We will start with the Sharing Time, leaded by Doro and Man-Yi at about 17:30, and then practice the 2 Hymns (Whisper to my heart & Give me oil in my lamp) for 1 hour. We are intending to proceed our learning to the last page of Whisper to my heart, and to review the movement of Give me oil in my lamp. Although there are only 3 times of practice left, it is not that hard if we are as ONE in the POWER of GOD'S LOVE!!! GO FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!
Another important thing is that the worth remembering development of our fellowship has been attentively collected in our blog. If you did not yet read these suuuuuuuuper iiiiiiiinteresting stuffs, please go there to check them out! (http://wjg-hjg.blogspot.com/) Besides, it would be encouraging to the blog manager, and to us members as well, if you can leave some comments there^^!

(14) Hymn/ GroupeHymn
Time: 17:50- 19:15

First Part:
We started with practising the hymn (Whisper to my heart) which we are going to sing at the end of this year at convo.
It was the first time singing it together in real. Because we actually were able to listen to it and get familiar with the melody. Some were not able to listen to it but it would be nice of those who do have the time and chance to listen what has been sended. It is not only this hymn but it would be a act of respect to at least read the mail of the other members in this groupe. People do use their time to think about the text and mails they write and it is addressed to everyone. Ok but anyway. We started to sing the hymn and were already able to learn the first two pages. So only one page is missing. At first it was of course to grasp to the notes and also for the bass and tenors to practice their part. Some parts were not that easy cause the key changed two times. But in the end we could sing the two pages with tenor and soprano and it was not that bad for the beginning though there is still a lot to work on. But if we keep this heart willing to learn and sing together it will be possible.
Second Part
After that one hour (more or less) it was time for Jonathan and YiYun to share something.
They decided to share little stories and experiences from their lives with God. YiYun shared five little stories: first told us that she did not carefully took care of her body and therefor she lost her voice. This happened two times and both times she regretted that she was not carefully with her body, which is given by God. But after she realised that and told God that she feels sorry about this he was so kind to give her not only his blood but also gave her with his blood her voice to speak about him and to sing to him. With this story she wanted to tell us that we should take care about the gifts given by God. And that we should not destroy them so that we will not be able anymore to serve him.
Secondly she told us how God prepares parking space for her. When she was still going to uni in taiwan it was not rarly that the time was already pretty advanced and she would be late if she could not quickliy find a space to park the scooter which is not easy. But in the really really crucial days when she really has to be on time but was going to be late she prayed to God. She asked him to preapare just a little space for her to park though she knew that it was not right to leave home too late. And indeed God prepared for her a place so that she was not too late for urgend appointments.
Thirdly she told us about the incident when she lost her purse when she was still in taiwan. It was really unbearable to worry about all the documents, cards and money she lost with this purse and be not able to do anything. She could only wait because it was friday evening and no one will give her any information till monday. So after unsucessfully searching for the purse on the way there was nothing which she could do then to wait. In this of aggravating waiting she used the time to think and reflect in prayer. Then she noticed that the amount of money she lost was about that amount of money she ought to give to God as the tithe. After admitting her wrongs there came a call on Monday. The person on the other side was the founder of her purse and this incident wich could develop into something really troublesome and time costing it was easily solved. It was just like a little warning, a kind reminde with no dramatic consecences and an incident giving reason to think and reflect.
Though there were other happenings to share this was the last one because some had to go home. The last one she shered was something which happend during her time in france while learning the language. It happend that she was raising from class one to class two due to the results of the test. But this advancement did not made her happy. She wanted to get into class three like most of her classmates and because she heard that the teacher there is very good. So she went to the coordinator and asked if she could not be in class three. This person just told her to discuss it with the teacher of class two. So again she had to wait to the next day to meet that teacher who already went home on that day, This time waiting was also not very pleasant because she just wanted to be in class three. But during prayer on that evening she asked herself what the real motivation is to want that desperatly rise to class three. She felt that it was pride and the image of the other people. If she would come to class three people would still think that she is super. But only being in class one would destroy that image. After realising this she admittet to God that these feelings were no good but that she now does not want to force to raise to class three but that she asks for it because of simply learn quicker. On the next day the coordinator did not gave her much time to talk but allowed her to attend class three.
After she shared these experiences with everyone Jonathan also told us something little of his life. Because he leads a smooth live he had not much encountments with trouble or problems. So he told us about a small incidet. He is used to collect the bottles in school and to get the refund. And every glas bottle is 15cent , three times five cent worth. But on one day after he already put the refund of the day into his saving box he found another five cent in his pocket and was puzzeld.
After this the second part of our fellowship had finished and before the prayer it was decided that Rebecca will be in charge of caring for the dinner. She will ask the people and know who will stay for dinner and what has to be prepared.

(13) Discussion
Part II. Protokoll vom 17.10: here are the issues and the results of our discussion.
1. Consensus forming and goal setting up:
We decided "inner solidarity" as our main concern for this half year, "make every effort to keep the unity of Spirit" as the theme, and therefore we chose "practicing hymns for the convo" as our short term goal for harmonizing each other.
2. Timetable making:
1) The timetable: in attachment, you can find the timetable of 17.10.2009- 09.01.2010. (The timetable afterward will be made on 09.01.2010, according to the project of the special Gospel Event at the beginning of April.)
2) The arrangement of each meeting: which will be held as two parts: 30 min of "Sharing Time" and 60 min of "Hymn practicing"
2.1) "Sharing Time": the purpose is to share our members' personal stories or hobbies for deeper and better understanding with each other. There will be 2 members sharing in each meeting while they can cooperate together during the 30 min, or just separately share their own stuffs for double 15 min.
2.2) "Hymn Practicing": concerning for the shortage of preparing time for the presentation, we will take 60 min for hymn practicing in each meeting. The hymns going to be presented in the convo are "Give me oil in my lamp(Eng.+Ch.)" and "Whisper to my heart (Eng.)". In attachment, you can find the mp3 file of "Whisper to my heart" in Chinese.
3. Other decisions:
1) The schedule: after 09.01.2010, the hymn time will regularly be carried out for 30 min in each meeting.
2) The special gospel event: the coordinator is Yiyun and the arrangement meeting of it will be held on 09.01.2010.
3) The form of protocol: zealous Doro has established our own blog: http://wjg-hjg.blogspot.com/ , so that she will make some brief protocol with some photos by Natha for each meeting. All members are welcome to leave your messages and comments on this blog. Please first inform Doro to add you into this community.
May God's Holy Spirit move us, guide us on his way, and unify us as one in His love. See you all this Sabbath!

(11) Hymn/Care
After a longer break we finally gathered for fellowship.
Hymn
Singing the simple song "Give me oil in my lamp" with movements which will exhaust you a bit after doing them for 1h. We had fun in sining and in jumping around and to think about interesting and fitting movements.
Care
This time we took care for the bedcloths. Next week will be Freizeit this means a long weekend with manifold entcount and occasions. Such as Danielas birthday, the baptism, prayer and fellowship. But this also means that the bedcloths have to be changed. Old off new on. As youths it was not unthinkable to do some more. Because it is often difficult for the sisters who wash these bedcloths to decern the bedcloths which belong to the church. We took garn and needles to sew little signs on fitting sheets, bed cloths and these for the pillow. No matter if someone had experience or not, everyone accoplished this task and left a little but helpful sign on the cloth.
Thank God that everything went smooth and that we could work together to finish a little task.

(10) Hymn
We had the wonderful opportunity to practice singing with sister Hui-Ting who had a long journey to attend the holy comunion on Sabbath. We did not only received technical advise but also encouragement and strenghtening. Thank God for this opportunity.

Holiday Park

Maybe I can get them someday.
These were really "very remarkable" shows. haha
..ok lets say more or less and its more less than more!!!
It is already months ago since we went there.
Now its winter, cold and dark.
Then it was pretty warm and sunny.
By the something we should keep in mind: I lost my cap there!!!
Otherwise I also remeber that we practice singing for Hauptstraße not only in the car but also while waiting in the queue. That was something I would never do alone.
Another thing: YiYun got a bit sick because she sat on the spinning cups. After that she could not really enjoy anything. Poor you.
As I just write these things others things just come into my mind. Just as the faild pick up of ManYi and her two friends by me and Tiana. We got lost and so we were too late for the ice show. We really did walk much and the poor friends of ManYi just followed us. Haha. We had to turn around very often^^.
YouYou was the first time in such a park. But you did not really notice that he was the first time there.
Now I just wonder what we ate?
What I can say by looking in my calendar is that we left at 7:30 and returned at about 10:30 so it was a pretty long day for everyone. But I think that we all are able to say that this trip was fun.
Also thanks to Tiana who drove the car. You must have been also very tired on the way back.
(9) Doctrin/Hymn
Doctrin
We sat together in a circle. Everyone got a little paper stripe. On this piece was a question concerning one of our basic beliefs. Then the people were randomly called and had to have a little discussion with Nathanael who took the role of a non-believer.

Thank God that our preparation for singing in the street has been smoothly proceeding. The songs we choose are these 4 in order:
1. Ich lobe meinen Gott
2. Suchet zuerst Gottes Reich in dieser Welt

So far we never discuss about this project together. I thinks it is necessary to cohere with each other through some discussion. What needs to be discussed is as following:
1. The willingness of going out and the short-term aim of this activity
2. The date of presentation: 8.8.2009? or postponing it for better preparing?
3. The location of presentation: in the street or in the church?
4. The details of the preprocess, the presentation itself and the following works
Our meeting will be held on the dining table after the prayer time this Sabbath. Hope that through this meeting, we can unite each other as one and have the same vision and motive of this activity in mind.
May we work on God's way all the time. Keep praying for each other.

Thank God that we could gather last Saturday for our youth fellowship. For that day the care giving groupe was assinged to prepare the activity during fellowship. It was nice to see everyone willing to do something and to put thoughts and time in the project which we started.
For those who were not able to attend here is a little summary of what we did.

As in our last meeting for care giving we just collected ideas how to give care internal and external (for the options please view the Protokol for 30.5.09). But at that fellowship we had no final decision. This time we voted for the method of internal care giving. The results are that we do it in an open way and in a circle caring.
The circle is as following: Maggie->Chih-jen->Nathanael->Susan->Daniela->Joni->YiYun->ManYi->WeiHsiang->PeiYing->ShuiRuo->YouYou->Dorothea->Tiana->XinJia->PenXiang->Maggie....
The parings will be newly drawn in Oktober.
Of corse you can care for everyone and on the other hand you just can care only about yourself. This is list which was drawn by lot is either an obligation nor a duty which you must do. Maybe the lack of time might hinder us or we do not know this person that well. But it would be nice and pleasing to God if we are able to develop a caring heart for each other and do it in an active way so that we can pass the love onward wich is given us from God. This circle or list with concrete person to care is just a help, so that we can develop and be attentive to others need, have comforting words and feel real compassion in the future.
No doubt it will be not easy to accoplish this and it would be miracle. But as we belife, miracles and signs will acommpany those who belong to Him so that we testify Him.

We just sang a few hymns from the german and usual hymn book. Memorizing the lyriks and singing it together was nice.
3.Start to prepare Tomasz package
The content of this package will be a book full of little crative work from everyone.This work can be a short story or a small text like a poem. "Wings" will be the shape of the book and they should be an object in the story either real pairs or maybe a felt ones. For inspiring terms like freedom, peace, weightless, looking ahead from a high place, closed and opend wings, protection, courage and strength were given. These texts should be written on A5 papers. It would be good if everyone would give me a foto with your picture so we can attach it to the text so Tomasz can recognize the author. If you do not send we will just pick one for you, if you did not object it before. If you find some other nice photos or images and think that they would fit into the book than please collect them. Also any other ideas are welcome.
After explaining these ideas the fellowship ended and time was given to everyone to gather their thoughts and start writing and preparing.
Some already fininished at that evening. Therefor I want to remeber everone kindly that if you want to contribute a nice piece of work please do not forget to do it and finish it as soon as possible. We want to send it while Tiana is in Germany so she can send it by the army.

First of all, thank you all for attending the meeting a couple of weeks ago and staying until the end. Organizational meetings tend to take longer than actual activities. However, I would like to apologize that time management is not one of my strongest attributes. From here on out, activities will be planned by the Coordinating groups. Therefore, you can rest assure that time management will be off of my hands. For those of you who were not able to attend the meeting last time, here's a brief recap of what happened:

Now the bulk of organization is accomplished, I am very excited and optimistic about the things we can do for God as a group. I feel that the youthful energy that has been asleep in Heidelberg WJG is finally going to be release for a very positive purpose. Let us continue to pray for God's guidance and wisdom in all of this. Most of all, let us pray for God to strenghthen us in doing more work for Him in unity and not lose heart. May we continue to learn from one another and be able to work with one another in harmony. Let us be of one heart and one mind, the mind of Jesus Christ, knowing that God will never shortchange us for the sacrifices that we make for Him. May God remember our labors/efforts and bestow His blessings and strength upon us.

(2) Youth Fellowship
Greetings to All in Christ,
Thank God that the Jugendgruppe is officially established on our Arbeitsplan. Now the real work begins for US! I really thank God for those zealous heart out there. It is truly a comfort to know that your heart is dedicated, and that we can do this together even if we have our own fears and uncertainties. I know some of you out there may fear certain things in regards to participating in this group, and I admit that I fear certain things also. To tell you the truth, It has been a great burden to me to have this thrown upon me involuntarily. My fear is that this group will not flourish, and there will be very little support, and a lot of questions and doubts. That even though I am excited about the amount of fruit we are capable of bearing and the amount of work we can do for God as a group to further the church, I'm also uncertain of myself being put in the position that I am in. But with some of your encouragements and zeal, I know that there will be support, and that this group can flourish with your zeal for God and the support we will receive from God. Let us work together to further the work of God, and to dedicate our time and energy to do more for God.

I know it has been a while since our frist meeting, and we may have forgotten the encouragements we have heard from our future preacher and from our counselor. I think the most important point that we can gather from the encouragements is that we put our heart into this work for God and to establish it as our own, because only then can we be an actively involved participant to support this work.
We were not able to complete everything in the first meeting, therefore, the meeting this week will be a continuation of where we left off last time. This meeting will help to define our goals and direction for the fellowship, I hope that all of you will be present. Please be thinking about your ideas and goals for the fellowship to share during our meeting. Since we did not have a concrete Arbeitsplan until now, some of us have already planned to attend theather. Therefore, please be vigilant in gathering for the meeting after lunch at 1415. We will continue after the prayer session if we do not finish until 1830.
After evaluating our schedule for Sabbath day, I have a recommendation to make for our meeting time. It seems that schedules can be unpredictable on Sabbath. On top of that, some parents may have to stay later and wait to take their kids home, which can be a burden if they want to go home and rest. Furthermore, people may want to have Saturday nights to do other things (e.g. work or play). And after a long day, we may all be too tired to do much of anything else to be active in this fellowship. I am thinking that perhaps we can have some of our meetings/activities on Sundays to allow more time and energy to be dedicated to this important task and mission. I heard the RE classes in Taiwan are held on Sundays. Which means actually, we are lucky in having this extra time to do something extra for God. In my thought, the fellowship should not be just another Bible Study or lesson where we are passive participants, because we do much of that already. My vision is that this be an active fellowship where we not only accomplish projects but have fun also, and not confine ourselves in time and space. In order to do that, we need to be rested enough to focus, and have time enough to accomplish what we set out to do. I will elaborate more on my ideas this weekend, and please also bring your ideas. In the meantime, please think over this and pray for our new fellowship.
By the end of our meeting, we should have accomplished the following:
1) Define our goal and direction
2) Set a time for our bi-weekly fellowship

Thank God that the Jugendgruppe is officially established on our Arbeitsplan. Now the real work begins for US! I really thank God for those zealous heart out there. It is truly a comfort to know that your heart is dedicated, and that we can do this together even if we have our own fears and uncertainties. I know some of you out there may fear certain things in regards to participating in this group, and I admit that I fear certain things also. To tell you the truth, It has been a great burden to me to have this thrown upon me involuntarily. My fear is that this group will not flourish, and there will be very little support, and a lot of questions and doubts. That even though I am excited about the amount of fruit we are capable of bearing and the amount of work we can do for God as a group to further the church, I'm also uncertain of myself being put in the position that I am in. But with some of your encouragements and zeal, I know that there will be support, and that this group can flourish with your zeal for God and the support we will receive from God. Let us work together to further the work of God, and to dedicate our time and energy to do more for God.
"9 Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor.
10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up.
12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.

I know it has been a while since our frist meeting, and we may have forgotten the encouragements we have heard from our future preacher and from our counselor. I think the most important point that we can gather from the encouragements is that we put our heart into this work for God and to establish it as our own, because only then can we be an actively involved participant to support this work.
We were not able to complete everything in the first meeting, therefore, the meeting this week will be a continuation of where we left off last time. This meeting will help to define our goals and direction for the fellowship, I hope that all of you will be present. Please be thinking about your ideas and goals for the fellowship to share during our meeting. Since we did not have a concrete Arbeitsplan until now, some of us have already planned to attend theather. Therefore, please be vigilant in gathering for the meeting after lunch at 1415. We will continue after the prayer session if we do not finish until 1830.
After evaluating our schedule for Sabbath day, I have a recommendation to make for our meeting time. It seems that schedules can be unpredictable on Sabbath. On top of that, some parents may have to stay later and wait to take their kids home, which can be a burden if they want to go home and rest. Furthermore, people may want to have Saturday nights to do other things (e.g. work or play). And after a long day, we may all be too tired to do much of anything else to be active in this fellowship. I am thinking that perhaps we can have some of our meetings/activities on Sundays to allow more time and energy to be dedicated to this important task and mission. I heard the RE classes in Taiwan are held on Sundays. Which means actually, we are lucky in having this extra time to do something extra for God. In my thought, the fellowship should not be just another Bible Study or lesson where we are passive participants, because we do much of that already. My vision is that this be an active fellowship where we not only accomplish projects but have fun also, and not confine ourselves in time and space. In order to do that, we need to be rested enough to focus, and have time enough to accomplish what we set out to do. I will elaborate more on my ideas this weekend, and please also bring your ideas. In the meantime, please think over this and pray for our new fellowship.
By the end of our meeting, we should have accomplished the following:
